  Abstract:  The Divine Myron in the Theological and Spiritual Thinking of Nicholas Cabasilas. This article is dedicated to the theological and spiritual thinking of Nicolas Cabasilas concerning the Sacrament of the Holy Chrismation. After taking part in the Mystery of the Holy Baptism, the process of achieving theosis and of the transformation of the person in Christ is continued by the Holy Chrismation of which Cabasilas thinks that it is the Sacrament of the “vitality of spiritual life”. Why? Because through this Sacrament of the Church, through the “Seal of the Holy Spirit”, man receives the divine energies and gifts of the Holy Spirit that potentiates, senzitizes and guides the senses of the entire being towards knowledge and mystical identification with Christ. An important role in this continuous growth towards perfection is assumed by the „human collaboration” of the will and the practice of virtues which gradually contributes to the development and growth of the grace received through the Sacrament of the Holy Chrismation.
